"Returned to the classroom after quarantine due to the COVID19 pandemic"

Planing to reopen the educational area of ​​the Finlay Institute post quarantine for pandemic COVID 19.

Due to the entry into force of the phase corresponding to the new normality of the educational system due to the pandemic caused by COVID19, in compliance with the state requirements of the CDC and as a way of maintaining the service provided by this institution, this document that sets out the conditions under which the current year will be formally opened, taking into account the required adjustments.

 Next, the strategies assumed will be listed, following the sanitary protocols suggested by the qualified institution for the post-quarantine reopening secondary to the pandemic caused by COVID19.

Given the request received, the following modifications and adaptations of the organization system for the physical space of the center and sanitary security measures are proposed.

1- Infection control
From the entrance of the institution, a continuous cleaning system has been structured for the entrance of clients and students, through which a strict surveillance of the entrance and exit is observed, as well as the movement of external and internal personnel in the institution, with a view to to the use of continuous cleaning utensils in the different areas or surfaces, both those for common use and those for individual use.

Among these utensils we have:
Alcohol, COVID 19 disinfectant, disinfectant gel, wiper towels, soap and water, all of which are distributed as follows.

A- secondary or external door entry.
B- Main door entrance
C- Infrared temperature measurement at the entrance to the main door.
D- Only one client at a time is allowed access to the office areas, maintaining social distance with the office personnel through the use of a mask and separating glass between the office and the client.
E- Social distance is also maintained between system users with physical space organized for such purposes.
F- Likewise, social distance is maintained in the classrooms and the constant use of a mask between teachers and students.
G- Constant presence of alcohol preparations (clean hands) in the Classrooms.
H- Periodically cleaning in internal utensils of common use.

2- Physical distance
We have an adaptation of the Physical space to the new times, minimizing the number of students per classroom according to what is required by the health department and taking the same distance measure in the common spaces and the office.

3- Mask covers mouth
The mandatory use of a face mask and maintenance of this time of stay is maintained as a requirement for entry to the school grounds.

4- Cleaning and disinfection
Use of sanitizing material at the entrance table.
Continuous cleaning by the staff for each client served, as well as the materials commonly used by users.
Cleaning door handles (common use) on a regular basis.

5- Hygiene of the hands
Strict monitoring of the handwashing of center staff with relative periodicity.

6- Education and training
The office staff and thus those who work were trained to maintain social distance and use of disinfection utensils within the center, for which they were provided with teaching materials and information on the use and maintenance of health care.

7- Ventilation
The institution has fans working properly.

8- Availability and trained personnel in tracing for recommendation and help in the measures for referral, orientation and isolation if necessary and / or detection of cases or contacts in the center, for which the measures stipulated by the corresponding protocol will be activated.

9- Special guide for laboratory, technician. Clinical program.
The recommendations and guides for the personnel that require it will be given according to the current protocol.

The school has created the conditions as required by the instructions of the corresponding entities.
A critical route of entry and follow-up order is recreated in the different areas of the center.
